Tomsk to Kemorovo in a Beechcraft 1900D

LivewireExpress flight 3291 is a very short flight that starts off at Bogashevo in the Tomsk region of Russia and finishes at Kemorovo Southeast in Kemorovo, Russia. Today's journal will contain 12 images.

Due to my involvement in Battle of the Airlines 2004, I hadn't the time to do a Livewire flight for some time. After BOTA was over, I only had a few days to get ready for a trip I was making for the holidays. So, I decided to pick the shortest LivewireExpress flight I could find. And what I found was flight 3291, a perfectly charming flight in a lovely little turboprop.

In the paltry predawn Arctic light, you couldn't make out much of the exterior of the aircraft, but the interior was ablaze with light and activity as I prepared for my flight.

Z25P is located in a valley. After takeoff, a lovely natural skyline is formed by the unrisen sun.

Air traffic control instructed me to climb to 4,000 ft, which I did slowly for passenger comfort. There are some passengers back there, right?

Up ahead, the sun finally shows itself.

Once at 4,000 ft, ATC instructs me to climb to my cruise altitude of 13,000 ft.

Once at altitude, I take the time to enjoy the Russian landscape below.

Moments later, from within the cockpit.

A Siberian city is off to the left.

Due to the short distace covered by this flight, I was not at cruise altitude for long. ATC instructed me to descend for my approach. Below, dawn is lighting up the city of Kemorovo.

There was some fog, which initially made the visual approach a bit tense. But eventually I caught sight of the airport lights, informed ATC, and began my final approach.

Now well lit, you can see the snow covering everything in sight, making for a winter wonderland.

After touchdown, all the airport is quiet, and we make our way over to the fuelling station for some AvGas for the next leg of this multileg flight.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of such flights with other legs needed to be flown, it must be made whether passengers were booked or not. This was true in this case with no passengers aboard, losing the airline $1,388.32.

I hope you all enjoyed!
